Robinson City Council approved the creation of a Tax Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) that began on January 1, 2020. The approval of this TIRZ creates a Tax Increment Fund (TIF), a tool that can be used to incentivizes economic development in Robinson.
The zone is located wholly within the City of Robinson city limits. It includes commercial and undeveloped parcels fronting Interstate 35, Greig Drive, the north and south side of Loop 340 to the eastern city limit, as well as parcels fronting both sides of Highway 77 south to Peplow Drive.
